One of my favourite asters. This robust Aster makes a loose mound of interlaced branching stems smothered to the ground with pale lilac-blue flowers, with finely-rayed petals 5 cm across. Lasts for weeks in the garden, perfect to soften the outline of mixed autumn arrangements. Mildew free. Sept-Nov. Ht 51 cm S to 50cm. Much loved by late bees and butterflies.
