Wild Daffodils or Lent Lily (Narcissus pseudonarcissus) HBb
The wild daffodil is single and slightly paler than most garden hybrids, but its simplicity is its beauty. In the wild it grows in woods, thickets and moist meadows. In the garden the bulbs will naturalise well in grass where they will get plenty of moisture in spring and early summer. Ht 8-10in. Flowers March-April. Harmful if eaten/skin irritant.
