Common Toadflax (Linaria vulgaris) HP/BB/BN
Brilliant yellow snapdragon-like flowers brighten up late summer. This is a very attractive plant both in and out of flower but it can become invasive in a cultivated garden. I grow mine together with verge-side grasses so they can compete with each other but the bees and butterflies can still benefit from the nectar. It can also be grown in a pot. Food plant for the Toadflax Pug and Marbled Clover Moths. Ht 1-2ft.
