Geranium x magnificum
A true cottage garden favourite and a glorious plant for the weeks that it is flower in mid summer. The flowers are 2in across, saucer-shaped in rich violet, darkly-veined and produced in abundance. Makes excellent ground cover under shrubs in sun or part shade and the leaves colour well in the autumn. Looks lovely with blue grasses and yellow roses. Shown in the photos combined with Ladys mantle, and in the other Red valerian, old roses and Jacob's Ladder. Ht and S 40-50cm Very attractive to bees and butterflies.
