Hemerocallis 'Catherine Woodbery'
Regular customers would appreciate that I had to grow this one as it is the most gorgeous clear lilac colour with a soft yellow centre (I am a sucker for lilac/pink flowers!) AND it is fragrant. Daylilies are an invaluable family of cottage garden plants requiring minimal attention, flowering from late June to early August and thriving in fertile moist soil. The name 'daylily' reflects the fact that each individual flower only lasts one day, but the flowers are borne in profusion, one after another on each flowering stem, so on an established clump the show is spectacular. Leaves are broad and strappy. They can remain undisturbed for many years, increasing in size and beauty as time goes on. Plant amongst shrubs or with perennials where mid-late summer colour is lacking.
