Erythronium 'Pagoda' AGM HBb
A strong-growing hybrid Dog-toothed Violet, with 3- 4 clear sulphur-yellow blooms marked with brown in April-May. The leaves are broad and shiny and also beautifully mottled brown. Ht 10in. Dog-toothed violets are ideal plants for shady woodland gardens and under deciduous trees and shrubs where they can remain undisturbed. They prefer a very free-draining humus-rich soil mixed with plenty of leaf mould and sand. Should be planted 6in deep.
